Vanesa Muñoz Molinero (Madrid ,1979)
Vanesa Muñoz Molinero , nace en Madrid y se traslada a Barcelona en el 2000 .
Cursa Filosofía por la Universidad de Barcelona (2009) después de diplomarse como Técnico Superior Escultura en la Escola Massana de Bcn ( 2006) y Técnico Superior en Escultura de metal en la Escuela La Palma de Madrid (1999).
Terminando los estudios de filosofía ,se alejó totalmente del enfoque antropológico, pasándo como única fuente de creación sobre aspectos matémáticos y físicos.
Como ella misma afirma :"....Cuanto más conozco y leo sobre física, más insignificante me resulta el ser humano y más apasionada me resultan la búsqueda del axioma ,alejado de cualquier capricho humano.
Desde las teorían de la mecánica cúantica, la teoría de la incompletitud de Gödel, la hipótesis del cotinuo de Cantor , o los descubrimientos sobre los agujeros negros, me resultan infinítamente más interesantes que cualquier tipo de problema existencial...".
Influenciada por el Constructivismo Ruso y las tensiones , tanto formales como cromáticas, de Anish Kapoor o Richard Serra, la abstracción de la forma y el valor emocional de la materia.
pasando por la frialdad del arte óptico.
De carácter totalmente abstracto, trabaja a modo artesanal rehuyendo en cierta medida de los avances tecnológicos, pugnando por la excelencia de la técnica , como única manera de proyectar las formas que proceden de fracciones de pensamiento, sin los cuales no podría existir.

Degree in Philosophy from the Universidad de Barcelona (2009) after receiving a degree as Sculpture Technician at the Escola Massana in Barcelona and Metal Sculpture Technician at the Escuela La Palma de Madrid.
After completing her studies in philosophy she distanced herself completely from an anthropological focus, finding instead the sole source of creation in mathematical approaches and quantum physics. As she herself states: “…The more I know and read about physics, the more insignificant human beings appear to me and the more passionate I find the search for the axiom, distanced from any form of human whim.
The theories of quantum mechanics, Gödel’s incompleteness theorem, Cantor’s continuum hypothesis, and the discoveries concerning black holes are infinitely more interesting to me than any form of existential problem”. Influenced by Russian Constructivism and the tensions, both formal and chromatic, of Anish Kapoor and Richard Serra.
Totally abstract in character, her works are made in an artisan way, rejecting to a certain extent technological advances and emphasizing instead technical excellence as the sole way of projecting the forms that arise from fractions of thought, without which they could not exist.
